Privacy policy
Last updated November 7, 2026
CallMyMac lets you call a phone number — or use this website — to have an AI assistant act on your own Mac. This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and your rights.
Who we are
CallMyMac operates CallMyMac and is the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: privacy@callmymac.com.
What we collect and why
- Account — your Google account's name, email address, picture link and an account identifier, when you sign in. Used to create your account and sign you in. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
- Your computers — the name of each Mac you connect and when it was last seen. Used to route your calls and tasks to your Mac. Contract.
- Phone numbers and calls — the number assigned to you; for each call, the caller's number, the number dialed, start and end time, and usage amounts (seconds transcribed, characters spoken, data transferred, call cost). Used to run the service and show you your usage and costs. Contract; our legitimate interest in operating and securing the service.
- Settings you save (e.g. allowed callers, greeting, voice). Contract.
- Security logs — server logs with IP addresses, timestamps and errors. Legitimate interest in keeping the service secure and working.
We do not record calls. Call audio and what's said are processed in real time and not stored on our servers. We don't use your data for advertising, don't sell or share it for that purpose, and don't use it to train AI models.
The live view and screenshots
While you have your dashboard open, your Mac sends its task steps, the call transcript, a small screenshot of each step and — only while you press Listen — its audio through our server to your browser. These pass through in real time. Screenshots are never written to disk on our server: the latest one is held in memory for up to 15 minutes so a page that reconnects can show it, and your browser tab keeps only the latest one until you close it, and your Mac deletes its screenshots when each task ends. Recent task steps are held in our server's memory only (so a page opened mid-call can catch up) and are never written to disk.
Who processes data for us
- Google — sign-in.
- Twilio — phone numbers and carrying calls.
- Deepgram — converting call speech to text and replies to speech, in real time.
- Amazon Web Services — hosting our server (United States).
- Anthropic — the AI assistant runs on your Mac with your own Claude account; what you ask, and screenshots of your screen, go from your Mac to Anthropic under your agreement with them, not through our servers.
These providers process data on our behalf under data processing terms. Some are in the United States; transfers from the EEA/UK rely on the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long we keep it
- Account, computers, numbers and settings — until you delete your account.
- Call records — 12 months, then deleted automatically.
- Server logs — 30 days.
- Released phone numbers — 12 months after release.

Your rights
You can access, correct, export or delete your data, object to or restrict processing, and withdraw any consent at any time.
